These terms apply to drivers and fleet owners who apply to drive with Click Cabs.
1. About these terms
These Partner Terms apply when you apply to become, or work as, a Click Cabs cab partner, either as
an owner-driver or as a fleet owner. Click Cabs is operated by Gold E Fleet Solutions.
By submitting a partner application you agree to these terms and to our
Privacy Policy.
2. Our relationship
You work with Click Cabs as an independent service provider, not as an employee or agent. You
decide when you are available. You are responsible for your own income tax and, where it applies
to you, GST.
3. Who can apply
- Every driver must be at least 18 and hold a valid driving licence that allows them to drive a
transport (commercial) vehicle.
- Every vehicle must have a valid registration certificate (RC), commercial or tourist permit
(yellow number plate) for the trips it takes, insurance covering commercial use and passengers,
a valid PUC certificate, and a fitness certificate where the law requires one.
- Vehicles must be clean, safe and roadworthy, with working air-conditioning if listed as AC.
4. Application and verification
- Everything in your application must be true, complete and your own.
- We check your details and documents before approving you, and may ask for
police verification or other background checks.
Approval is at our discretion.
- We may ask you to update or reverify your details at any time, for example when a document
expires. Your dashboard shows your current status and any note from our team.
5. Documents
Upload clear, readable copies of your RC, insurance, driving licence, Aadhaar card, PAN card and
vehicle photos through your partner dashboard. Keep them valid and tell us straight away if any of
them expire, are suspended or change. Never upload someone else’s documents.
6. Trips
- You are free to accept or decline a trip we offer. Once you accept it, reach the pickup point
on time and complete the trip as booked.
- Charge the customer only the confirmed fare plus the extras set out in our
Terms & Conditions (tolls, parking, permits, agreed extra distance or time).
- Do not ask customers introduced by Click Cabs to book directly with you instead.
7. Safety and conduct
- Never drive under the influence of alcohol or drugs, and follow all traffic laws, including the
Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 and applicable state rules.
- Take enough rest; do not drive when tired.
- Be polite and professional. Do not smoke in the vehicle, and respect every passenger’s
safety and privacy.
- Report any accident, breakdown or serious complaint to us immediately.
8. Payments
A refundable deposit of ₹5,000 is payable to start taking bookings with Click Cabs; the payment details are
shown in your partner dashboard. How trip fares are collected, the Click Cabs commission or fee, and when you are
paid are agreed with you before your first trip.
9. Customer information
We share a customer’s name, mobile number and pickup details with you only so you can
complete their trip. Use them for that trip only, do not keep or share them afterwards, and never
contact a customer for any other purpose.
10. Insurance, fines and liability
You are responsible for your vehicle, its insurance, and any traffic fines or challans incurred
while you are driving. You agree to cover Click Cabs for losses caused by your breach of these terms
or your negligence.
11. Suspension and leaving
- We may restrict, suspend or end your partnership if your documents lapse, you give false
information, you break these terms, or there are serious or repeated customer complaints.
Where we can, we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond.
- You may stop working with us at any time by telling us. Amounts owed on either side for
completed trips are settled when you leave.
12. Your personal data
How we collect, use, protect and delete your details and documents is explained in the
cab partner section of our Privacy Policy.
13. Law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra have jurisdiction
over any dispute.
